Pixel Game Lab was built by Game Design Academy, and shaped by the people below.
The tools, the game engine, and the way it all fits together, designed around what actually works with kids in a classroom.
The characters, tiles and decorations in the built-in PGL Library were drawn by hand, pixel by pixel, so that anyone can start making a game on their first day without drawing anything themselves.
These young game makers played the earliest, roughest versions, found the bugs, and told us plainly which parts were confusing. The app is better in dozens of small ways because of them.
